LED Light Therapy

Our LED light therapy appointments are held in our beauty salon in Maidstone, Kent.

  • LED light therapy, also known as phototherapy or low-level light therapy (LLLT), is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses different wavelengths of light to address various skin concerns. The treatment involves exposing the skin to LED (light-emitting diode) lights that emit specific colours or wavelengths. Each colour of light penetrates the skin at different depths, triggering various cellular responses. LED light therapy is often used in dermatology and aesthetic clinics. It can be added at the end to enhance your treatment.

It's important to note that whilst LED light therapy can provide benefits, individual results may vary, and it may not be suitable for all skin concerns. Consulting with a skincare professional can help determine if LED light therapy is appropriate for your specific skin needs.

  • When the skin is exposed to specific wavelengths of light, it triggers a photochemical response in the skin cells. This, in turn, stimulates various cellular processes and promotes healing and rejuvenation.

LED light therapy is considered safe and painless. It does not generate heat, and there is no downtime associated with the treatment.

Sessions typically last around 20-30 minutes, and multiple sessions may be required for optimal results, depending on the specific skin concern. (can be added to compliment any of the treatments I offer)
